Capella on 9

A new addition to Asheville’s skyline is Capella on 9, located on the 9th floor of the new AC Hotel in the heart of Asheville on Broadway Street.  Featuring a balcony with mountain views, this rooftop bar promises “small plates, with big views.” Capella on 9 offers farm-to-table, curated tapas-style dishes and handcrafted drinks.  With fire pits to keep you warm and toasty, this is an ideal spot to cozy up and enjoy the view.   Our handcrafted drink pick?  The Smoked Boulevardier with Maker’s Mark, Campari, sweet vermouth, Angostura, Smoke. Montford Rooftop Bar

Located on the 8th floor of The Hyatt Place Asheville, The Montford Rooftop Bar delivers a stunning, westward facing view of the mountains and sunset.  The rustic bar space seats around 50 people, with rotating seasonal brews on tap, as well as curated cocktails and wines.  The patio is where you want to be, naturally.   We recommend pairing up the Smoked Sunburst Trout Dip with the Honeysuckle cocktail that will keep you warm and satisfied.  Montford Rooftop Bar

 

Skybar

On the western side of Asheville’s Historic Flatiron Building, Skybar is one of the more well known bars with a view in Asheville.  Spread among four terraces, Skybar is a part of The World Cafe on Battery Park. Scoring high on the charm factor is an antique elevator, complete with a doormen that takes you to the 8th floor bar entrance. Pillar

Pillar’s rooftop bar is atop the Garden Hilton Inn, downtown.  Tall glass windows enable you to take in a full spectrum view through all seasons. Highland Brewery

Highland Brewery is the oldest legal brewery in Asheville.  Located on the Eastside of town, it’s surrounded by lush woods with a pasture called the Meadow.  The Meadow hosts a variety of rotating food trucks, as well as picnic tables and games. Top of the Monk

If you’re looking for a truly handcrafted cocktail, The Top of the Monk is for you!  On top of the Thirsty Monk downtown, over looking the sights and sounds of Pack Square, this rooftop bar is strung with patio lights and city views.  Creating their own bitters, infusions, syrups and fresh squeezed juices, your libration will be a an artist’s masterpiece.  They specialize in classic cocktails like the Bobby Burns Cocktail or a creamy Brandy Alexander.  They put their heart into their cocktails and it shows.  Top of the Monk

 

Green Man Brewery

The Southern
