Who doesn’t love music and storytelling? Especially in a vibrant, living space where wine and cheese are involved! We’re so excited to be hosting our second ‘Do Good’ Date Night at the greenest spot in West Asheville Flora. ‘Do Good’ Date Nights are a chance to combine date night with volunteering, have fun and meet some stellar new people, PLUS make a difference in our community.
The focus for this event is Dogwood Alliance, a non-profit organization protecting Southern forests across 14 states. Forests are life-sustaining. Forests provide us with the very air we breathe, clean our drinking water supply and are home to millions of plant and animal species. They protect us from flooding. Forests are one of the greatest forces for helping us survive the worst effects of climate change. They are our connection to nature and can help us cope with stress, fatigue, and anxiety.
Join us at Flora in West Asheville Saturday, April 6th, 7 – 10 pm for a wine and cheese pairing created by the experts at District Wine Bar. Experience Flora’s new vibrant space while tasting hand-selected wines from around the globe perfectly matched with delicious cheeses followed by Musical Storytelling with local Asheville performers as well as an inspirational call to action to show love for the forests that do so much for us.
Your ticket includes the wine and cheese pairing and all entertainment provided. Tickets are available on Eventbrite here, $30 for one ticket or save and buy two tickets for $50. Additional bottles of wine will be available for purchase, and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided free of charge. Profits from the ticket sales will be donated to Dogwood Alliance for all the important work they do.
If you’re thinking is that everything? It’s not! We are super pumped to have local musician Brooke German, a classically trained pianist, and vocalist performing cello gracing us with her lovely sounds.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite here. We can’t wait to see you there!
