A Compilation of Asheville Date Night Experiences by Jenn Gordon

I live, sleep, and breathe writing creative content and marketing because it drives me creatively and allows me to express my enthusiasm for beautiful design. Two years ago, I launched Asheville Date Night Guide as a passion project to inspire couples, families, and friends to share ideas for how to make a clean break from everyday monotonous routines, make new connections, discover new things about themselves, and about each other. Personal growth happens when people are pushed outside their comfort zones and I am determined to arouse this in everyone that is listening.

ADNG has also allowed me to consistently improve my writing skills at lightning speed, advance my photography skills, and market local businesses connecting them to people all around the globe. Launched in 2017, ADNG is bringing locals and visitors ideas for what to do, where to eat, and drink in Western North Carolina. Through determination and persistence for growing ADNG, in under two years, I have built our social media channels to more than 16k+ followers, am currently reaching 10 – 12k unique readers a month with over 100k annual pageviews, and maintain over 4k newsletter subscribers.

In my current role, I take the lead as part of a marketing duo on events, blog posts, email communications, and social media. This role also allows me the opportunity to work with the other Date Night Guide cities, in support of each other, including Sales and Leadership for ADNG.

In addition to having an accelerated drive for digital and visual marketing, I am passionate about health, wellness and connecting folks to better overall living and unique experiences. I strongly believe with my variety in marketing experience, hospitality, event management, and sales collaboration, I would be a great addition to your team! I am dedicated to living the best life possible, am a team player and crave creative content for marketing local businesses to international audiences.

Are you ready to elevate your tea drinking experience? 🍵 Then you MUST go to @high_climate_tea!⠀ ⠀ Team Asheville Date Night had the unbelievable honor of meeting tea educator, Hunter and visiting his amazing tea house twice this week. He taught us many many things, including how to brew tea in a traditntal fashion and offered us some INCREDIBLE tea and food pairings. The food was just out of this world amazing (thank you for your contribution to our pallets @hana_japanese_cuisine) and the tea, I can’t even describe it!⠀ ⠀ When you visit, we highly recommend the Iron Goddess Tea AND the handmade MOCHI made every day with fresh, local ingredients. A match made in heaven!⠀ ⠀ Go visit Hunter! You’ll never think of tea the same way again. In fact, you won't ever stop thinking about this unique experience! #teahouse

I took over the social media for Rustic Grape Wine Bar in April 2019 and since then it has grown from under 1,000 to more than 1,400 followers. Rustic Grape’s insights are showing that our daily IG posts are reaching between 500-700 people, that our website clicks are between 30-70, and profile visits are between 80-100 per week.

Each week we will be featuring a different cheese made right here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are big supporters of the @wnccheesetrail – a driving map used to find local dairy farms, cheese makers and farmsteads that can be visited for weekly tours. Grab one here from our wine bar. ⠀ ⠀ This week we'd like to give a big shout out to Three Graces Dairy located in Marshall, NC, where cow, goat, & sheep are the three graces for producing their fromage and the result is out of this world. Pictured is their melty, gooey Melange cheese and the piquant, aged Castenets cheese. ⠀ ⠀ Both of these cheeses pair well with our unique wines for different reasons. What’s better than wine and local cheese? #wineandcheeseplease
