Asheville’s Top Haunted Farms and Corn Mazes

We see it all around us, Fall has arrived!  It’s time to carve pumpkins, venture through haunted farms and corn mazes with trepidation and humor. Local Western North Carolina farms do it right by mowing corn mazes, letting you cruise on a hayride and send you loose through chilling scenes of murder and mayhem. Here’s where to get your Fall fix for that chaotic mix of fear, laughter and confusion!

The Haunted Farm

Looking for the scariest farm in Asheville? The Haunted Farm near Hendersonville is well worth the trip. You’ll walk through the most frightening scenes of blood, murder and downright shocking display of circumstances. Year after year, The Haunted Farm never disappoints even the bravest of egos. It will make your teeth chatter and by the end, you may not have a voice after all the screaming.

The Haunted Farm is BACK! Celebrating their 10 Years of Terror with their scariest season yet! The Livey-Tate Feud comes full circle, with The Haunted Farm presenting the reunion of Billy Tate and Missy Mae Lively. Who would want to miss that?

Pinhead’s Graveyard

The other highly recommend place for Halloween terror is located just outside of Canton.  But, unfortunately Pinhead’s Graveyard has been canceled for 2020 but don’t howl, they will be back with a vengeance in 2021!

Eliada Corn Maze

The Eliada Home has Fields of Fun Corn Maze and Fall Festival 2020. Eliada Corn Maze has implemented safe precautions and following CDC guidelines closely for a safe fall activity outing for the whole family. Be sure to visit this annual corn maze open September 25th through October 31st. Opening weekend includes a visit from a killer local brewery Oskar Blues Brewery providing beer for the adults. Also joining the opening weekend fun, food trucks by Cecilia’s Kitchen on Saturday, Sept. 26th and Melt Your Heart on Sunday, Sept 27th.

Cold Mountain Corn Maize

Cold Mountain Corn Maize is 6-acres of corn maze fun and adventure located in Canton, NC! Open every day Sept. 19th – October 31st, Contact Information: General Hotline: (828) 226-0508.

Wednesday – Friday:

  • 4 pm – 9 pm

Saturday and Sunday:

  • 1 pm – 9 pm

Closed on Monday and Tuesday

Hickory Nut Gap Farm

Hickory Nut Gap Farm, unfortunately, is not open to the public this fall. They do extend a wish to everyone for a happy harvest season and hope to see you all very soon on the farm. To shop their store, please visit and order online at their website.

Stepp’s Hillcrest Orchard

Stepp’s Hillcrest Orchard is located in Hendersonville.  A beautiful family-owned Apple farm you’ll want to explore, pick out a pumpkin and get lost in the 5-acre corn maze. Corn Maze Schedule: 7 days a week in 2020.

Sunday:

  • 10 – 6 pm

Grandad’s Corn Maze

Grandad’s Apple Farm is also located in Hendersonville. Choose from a huge selection of pumpkins in the pumpkin patch and venture off to the 5-acre corn maze. Plenty of fun-filled activities and Grandad’s farm is open every day of the week. The cost is $4 per person.
