Bend Into Your Next Date

What better way to start your next date than with a little extra zen? Bring your loved one to Asheville Community Yoga (ACY), a donated-based yoga studio empowering people to live healthy, active and well-informed lives located less than 10 minutes from downtown Asheville.

Take A Class

Whether you are a brand new to yoga, in need of a weekday date or would rather meditate lives’ stresses away, ACY has it all and more. Visit their complete weekly schedule here to read more about their class schedule and teachers. Yoga mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets are all provided for you. You need to bring nothing other than water, a towel if you think you need it and positive energy.

Have Children? They’ve Got You Covered

Do you have little ones running around? On Sundays, during both Gentle Morning Flow and Vinyasa Flow, childcare is available for parents with potty trained children. Children play, create and make new friends as you exhale your worries away.

Workshops & Series

If you are in search of something deeper, be sure to explore ACY’s upcoming workshops and class series. The June 2nd workshop, Yoga Modifications for Every Body Part: Knee and Wrist Sensitivity is a great way to learn more about some key yoga essentials outside of a class. Remember, although there is a fee for workshops and series and they are not donation-based like classes, financial assistance is available.

Healing Arts

ACY also has a healing arts program, bringing affordable, high-quality healing arts services to you! As they share, “It is in the spirit of Karma…selfless service, that our Healing Arts prices reflect a self-selected rate for our offered treatments. It is a flexible system of payment that offers a reduced fee for treatments for individuals who cannot afford to pay the average rate for therapeutic services.” Learn more and book your service today. Services include reflexology, massage, acupuncture and much more.

Karma Cafe

You can complete your relaxing date with a nourishing meal from Karma Cafe. Tucked in just behind the studio, Karma Cafe is an organic and plant-powered whole foods nonprofit restaurant. Their menu changes with the seasons and you are welcome to take out or dine in.

Zen & Now

If you can find a way to fit it into your date, perhaps an outfit challenge or a donation of your own items, we love visiting the Zen and Now Shop every time we pop over for a class.

Strengthen the core of your relationship and stretch into a new adventure this week by heading over to ACY for your next date. The options are endless. Now go get your zen on.
